hey we had our daylight savings last week. and because of it the sun is down at around 5 oclock.. but thats good right now.. that means we still have some time before it gets dark at 4! yahoo! haha but yes we get to stay out in the dark otherwise we would be staying in alot during the winter!
come on real... that is a shame they should have won right there.. they needed to win that game! ugh............. dangit! hopefully they do better next time!! they play on saturday? it is pointless for me to ask that because i wont hear from you until after the game.. but oh well.....
haha so yesterday we had a good day.. i will just tell you about our whole day. so we went to church and there are a few people in our ward who are not danish so every once in a while we have to translate for them.... so it was my turn for a guy named lin. he comes from china. dopest man ever i love him... but i am translating everyones testimony.. then he looks at me and was like "i want to bear testimony. come with me and translate." my heart dropped.. cause i know how many people understand english... everyone except for 1 old lady in the congregation.... i dont wanna freaking translate in front of everyone.. everyone will just be like wow this kid does not know danish at all..... so i walked up there with him and i dont remember what he said cause i was so focused on just translating.. but i got told that i did a good job with it... i just didnt know what some of the big words biologists use in their normal speech.. so i had to compromise with some other words... but it was weird... i hate translating.. worst thing ever!!! then our home boy debby from ghana said he was gonna come to church.. but guess who didnt come... debby... so we were a little pissed of at that. so we felt like we needed to talk to more black people... so we stopped by all the black people that would be down with talking to us... we taught 3 black people yesterday!!!!!! what up!! one from ethiopia, who is a less active.. and then 2 from cameroon!!!!!! they are all super sick.. black people are super religious i love them way too much... they love the word! that is for sure!
we had a halloween party on friday night at the church with all the young adults.. way fun. and we all dressed up too.. well i dressed up and the others just made things up... i was the classic lion that i was last year :) and it was a ballin costume.. errbody loved it! but lin thought that i was a hamster instead of a lion..... i dunno how one thinks a lion looks like a hamster... but hey. lin did so it is possible.. but it was way fun. we made a little area in the church a "haunted house" and swan and brady were scaring people in it. it was way rad.. they got some of the girls to scream. hehehe and some of the other ghanians who came with the other elders... yes we like teaching black people! we ate donuts from strings.. we danced.. we carved pumpkins.. we talked.. it was a legit halloween party.. but they dont celebrate halloween here. it is kinda sad... i only saw a few people dressed up... which is a shame.. but what can ya do.. they have their own holidays... right?
oh yeah mom that picture is from a giant green house.. we played hide and go seek in it... except the other version.. where 1 person hides then the other 3 have to hide with them.. way fun.. way good.. it made it scary with all the other people in it.. but that is just how it is.... :) we have fun if you didnt know!!!
oh mom........ from what i know about my release date.... nothing... it could be march 24 or may 5..... i have no idea.. and president does not know either.. and i probably wont find out for another month or so.....but my bet is that my release date will be in may.... if that were to happen do you think that you could get pres devisser to release me over the phone and yall can just come and meet me here? or would you still want me to come home and then come back.... just thinking about money.....
but hey thanks for everything that ya do for me... yall are the best!
