Week 66 Århus (Denmark)

People need to stop listening to Christmas music

"and the family... elder howlands boy.. im a grandpa!!!! he calls me "skat" "

hey what up......

your week sounds like it has been way fun and exciting. alot going on.. yeah i heard that the danish tennis player chick lost last night.. cause we were at a members house who lives with a bunch of dudes our age.. and so we get along with them way well and just chill.. and they were talking about how she would play.. and then they forgot that the soccer team was playing.. so they turned that on and i was lucky enough to watch the highlights. yes their goals.. which made me want to play soccer way bad.. but it was way sweet.

so this mission conference was way freaking dope. i loved every second of it. it was super sweet.. we left on friday night and went and slept in Virum. so that was cool to see that area.. it is in copenhagen and super sweet. you know how much i love copenhagen.. so it was way fun.. got to wake up at 5.30 to start showering so we could get to nitivej by 8 oclock. got there and it was way sweet to see everyone again. it was weird to say goodbye to the sisters that were in my group.. they go home at the end of this transfer.. yeah their missions are over. it was way weird..

"the whole mission... and elder christensen"

but Elder Bednar is a champion. it was basically just question and answer the whole time. and he basically taught us like we should teach investigators. get them involved. we already all knew that but we dont all apply it.. we talked alot about action as well... what good does wanting do if ya dont actually do it.. but my most favorite thing that he only touched on was about change.... he said.. ya know what i will be honest with ya. if ya dont like change.. well then you are in the wrong church. so get used to it... i thought it was way dope... cause it is way true... ya know we will have change because of a big thing called revelation... i dunno.. i just needed to hear that.. cause there are alot of changes that are happenin in the mission right now with obedience .. but edler Bednar is a champion. it was basicalyl just question and answer the whole time. and he basically taught us like we should teach investigators. get them invoolved. we already all knew that but we dont all apply it.. we talked alot about action as well... what good does wanting do if ya dont actually do it.. but my most favorite thing that he only touched on was about change.... he said.. ya know what i will be ehonest with ya. if ya dont like change.. well then you are in the wrong church. so get used to it... i thought it was way dope... cause it is way true... ya know we will have change because of a big thing called revelation... i dunno.. i just needed to hear that.. cause there are alot of changes that are happenin in the mission right now with obedience that i do not like at all.. like we cannot sing any normal song ever.. if it is not a song that is approved we cant sing it.... i am sorry.. that one is basically gonna be imposssible for me.. but i will figure out how to do my best.. cause without change how will we ever become better. ikke?

Pictures from Sister Sederholm, on the mission blog:  Cop-Den-Mission.blogspot.com,
she says: Ready to receive instruction from Elder and Sister Bednar, Elder and Sister Hallstrom, and Elder and Sister Kearon

but when we stayed in virum guess who else stayed there... nykøbing elders. elder brindley and elder peterson. so that was way fun to be with them and talk about nykøbing a little bit.. so do you remember that picture that i sent home with all of the little muslim kids? one of them.. senor... asked where i was last time they saw him... so that made me way happy cause that kid is the dopest kid on this planet. i love that little muslim cussing 5 year old.

so we have helped maria a member move and paint alot.. they just barely moved... and they moved into a house with a big ole apple tree in the backyard... oh and the people that lived their before forgot their baseball bat... oh and just so ya know.. it is against the law to have a baseball bat unless ya are on an actual team playing.. so this is rare.... so every time we are over there we always go out and pick up the apples that have fallen to the ground and pitch them to each other.. it is way fun... and we just found a golf club :) yeah even more fun.... hahahaha i love apples on a completely different level now.. but the bad thing is, is that the apple juice gets ALL over us.. like all over our face, body, clothes, shoes, the house.. every possible thing out there has apple crap all over it.. it is way funny. and that is the house where those boys live.. marinus, and vandel.. so they come and do it with us..but they are danes so they are AWFUL at swinging a bat.. ahhahaha dont tell anyone i said that..

have a good week all of ya..

oh we were not told about ipads... but my bet is, is that i will never be able to use an ipad as a missionary.. just a bet.... but ya never know

love ya
