Week 63 Nykøbing-Falster (Denmark)

"these are the dopest kids ever a danish kid, senor, danna, sam, and jako... 2 of the muslim kids just got back from iraq.. they were on vacation there"

what the freak. that fridge looks huge. i am way happy to use it when i get home! ha well at least look in it and see the massive amounts of food in it. so YES! and the handles on the cabinets are looking way new and dope. hopefully no one pulls on them too hard...

but the view from that drive is way pretty. and it is insane that ya could see 5 freaking temples. literally insane. so many temples in such a small place. my mind is blown because of it. now i know how the other side lives with a temple that is a couple hours away.. but i am still more lucky here than in other places... which is insane to think about.

oh we should be getting transfer calls this week. so either tomorrow or wednesday. or thursday.. or even friday. but we will be getting them and there is a 98% that i am leaving. i have been here for almost 6 months.. so that will say that next monday i will be emailing from a different part of denmark than i have been since march.. whack. weird. i love transfers but i hate them. alot of fun.

mommy thanks for liking that picture. i thought you would like it.. and dad sorry i didnt say hi to you... i will try and make it up to you somehow.

oh so check it.. the sisters that are in my district (sister vige and sister orgill) about 4 weeks ago they contacted a lady on the street and she got baptized yesterday.. you know what that means? another baptismal interview. that is the 5th one since i have been down here. slagelse missionaries are freaking killing it. it is incredible. and they have a couple more on the way. i love meeting the people that are getting baptized. it makes me happy to see the people that love the church that are not members yet. super dope. oh and check it. after we got invited by a member to go eat at a steak restaurant for lunch. so all 6 missionaries went. it was way rad. i love when members from a different ward invite us to eating appointments.. it makes me miss big wards. i miss gladsaxe 1 ward alot actually. i saw cecilla paulsen (the bishops wife) at our mission conference. we talked for a minute. and guess what. she remembered me! i was happy about that. so someone remembers me. haha

oh speaking of that.. our mission conference. it was so dope.. it was way rad to see everyone again. but it also showed me how many of the missionaries i dont know cause i have not been over to jylland yet. i have been on sjælland. and down here in nykøbing just everyone forgets about us cause we are the most southern missionaries... so i dont know alot of people. way different than how it was at the beginning of my mission. but i figured out who i am way close with. but we had president teixeira talk to us. i dont know what his calling is but he is up there. and yes... he told us that we will be getting ipads soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  i have  no idea when soon is.. it could be 3 weeks.. it could be 3 years...but the denmark copenhagen mission will be getting ipads at a time which will help the work like crazy..

he told us a story about social networking.
they did a test in the netherlands with the members and an ad on facebook about the movie finding faith in Christ. it was on facebook for 5 weeks.. and about 1.2 million people saw the ad. about 500,000 people clicked on the ad.. and i forgot how many people ordered the free film... but about 600 people from that whole time got baptized. i do believe........ it may be less than that... but it was incredible. and no missionaries were involved at all. except in the teaching process. all members. so get to work on that social networking.. cause sooner or later i will be gettin on FB. yeah playa! get ready.

but it was a way good mission conference. i loved it. i learned alot. and it made me sad that some missionaries are going home.. and guess how many missionaries are older than my group after this transfer.... about 5........... then my group. i am an old missionary... freaking weird. i just barely got here. ya know? does it feel like i have been in nykøbing for a long time for you guys? it feels like it was way shorter than my time in ballerup which was the same amount of time.. each transfer goes by faster and faster.... but yes... i am doing great. thanks for asking. how are you????????

i hope you have an amazing week.

love ya
cameron
