Zone Conference:  June 12, 2014  Cameron with his companion, Elder Brindley

thank you sooooo much for the package. it was a boss package. and tell cadie thank you for the watch. it is a super champion. i love the hi chews.... they are almost gone. so thank you. they really are super good.

haha M did not come to church this week just because of his sickness. which i was bummed about. but we purchased him a triple (book of mormon, d&c, and pearl of great price) cause he didnt have one. he got way too happy about it and said it was the best gift that anyone has ever given him. yeah i will take that any day. i hope it boosts up his excitement to read. i know it will but he has just got to figure it out! oh M.. hahaha

this week was not that eventful..
but on tuesday we had our zone conference and this month we are studying the language section of preach my gospel. and so we discussed alot on how we can be better at speaking danish and what we can do to have more confidence.. and also how we should gain tillid (i dunno what it is in english) from members. and the stake president of the copenhagen stake talked to us about it for a half hour. and he just related it to having a job and what it takes to be good at talking to people. and you know me. as soon as they start talking business i start paying attention that much more. but it was way good. he pointed out some of the simple things that we must do in order for them to trust us. and it basically all starts with being their friend. and that is how it is with investigators as well.. the better friends we are with them, the more they will be willing to invite us over.. that is why i LOVE less active work. because we go over there and we just talk for 30 minutes and become super good friends and then share a little spiritual message and we are out of there. it is amazing.

but zone conference was amazing. alot of it was in danish because that is the language we are called to serve in. and i was thinking about it alot while we were there... i have been in denmark for a year now. and one of my first zone conferences that i had was a media training that was all in danish. and i couldnt understand any of it..... but this week, i understood every little thing. and its crazy how ya can see yourself change and learn from it.

president talked alot about how we all will get the gospel in our own native tongue. that includes us. the gospel means that much more to us in our language..i love the gospel in danish, but if i have a chance to listen to it in english.. you know i am going to be listening to it in english... it is like the temple last time i went.. we watched the whole session in english and then we had the opportunity to go through the veil in english or in danish.. and it means soooo much more to you if it is in english. so that is why we are assigned to speak a language. to help those people out.. and that is why J  is going to get baptized in denmark not in america.. cause she knows that it will mean that much more for her.. oh by the way. she has come to church the past 4 sundays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and elder wilsher who was over there is now in ballerup. i saw him on tuesday and he came up to me and said J wants to give you this and he gave me a huge hug. it was way rad...

sorry about my spiritual rant...... but imma continue it

so elder hawkes and i would teach alot of people so our numbers were the best they have been my whole entire mission. but none of them were really going anywhere.. and so i thought about it, pondered and prayed about it and we should not be working with those people who are wasting our time.. we could do better things than  teaching people about the gospel that wont do anything about it.. we could be knocking.. yay... but it is what needs to be done... so we are doing alot of different work down here as of right now... but hey. elder brindley and i get along wayyyyy well! i love this kid. he is way rad!!

hey continue being bosses.
continue keeping me updated on everything
continue being the best parents in the world thank you so much for what you have done for me.

love yall super duper much.

"I love these signs NO POOPING"

"yes those are all swans"

ya actually i do get updates. i get all the scores given to me by my mission leader in our branch.. which is very small by the way a solid 21 active members! can you even imagine that? i dont think you can.. because i sure as heck couldnt.. i am way jealous that you watch soccer all day long. this is the best time of the year.. enjoy it. and freaking cheer on those americans playing those ghananian people. america... america can literally do anything. think about all the wars that we have won that we are not supposed to win. think about which country is the most successful.. and everyone who i talk to here that has been to america.. they always say that there are sooo many opportunities over there.. guess what an opportunity is for the americans... to freaking do well in the world cup. when americans set their minds on something.. it will get done. cause we dont have AANYTHING holding us back! I LOVE FREAKING AMERICA SO MUCH!

i am good cadie thanks for asking. i love denmark so much. i never wanna leave. i am in love with the land and the language..

thank you for everything. you are the best!
